The following is basic information only.
Booking: All bookings/enquiries made via www.temp-gardenerscottages.siterubix.com are subject to availability and are ‘pending’ until the full 10% down payment has been received. A booking is only confirmed once the 10% down payment is taken and received. We reserve the right to withdraw available dates/confirmed bookings at any point during the 7 days after a confirmed booking. This is a policy we implement to avoid double bookings from other booking platforms.
Deposit: A £100 deposit is secured when booking. Deductions will be made in the event of excess electricity use, extra cleaning, extra logs/coal or breakages.
Payment: FULL payment (remaining balance) will be taken 30 days before arrival. Should a booking be made within 30 days of arrival date, the full amount will be taken immediately.
Cancellations: The initial 10% down payment is used to secure the booking. Any cancellation within 31 days of the arrival date will not be refunded (down payment will be forfeited). Any cancellation made PRIOR to 31 days will be fully refunded. Also, the £100 security/damage deposit will be refunded for all cancellations.
Arrival and Departure: Entry can be expected from 3 pm on the day of arrival. The property must be vacated by 10 am on the day of departure.
Noise Levels: Due to the semi-detached nature of the cottages, parties, late-night drinking and other anti-social behaviour are strictly prohibited.
Tenancy: The left hand cottage sleeps 4 people whilst the right hand cottage sleeps 4 people. Occupancy is strictly on the basis of a holiday let for the period of time stipulated on the booking form. The person signing the booking form must be over 18 years old.
Pets and Smoking: No pets permitted and we have a no a smoking policy.
Electricity: The rental payment for the holiday let will include electricity to the value of £30. Electricity usage beyond the £30 will be deducted from the deposit at the current rate (currently at 20p per kWh standard & 11p kWh for night storage). So, if a guest uses £35 worth of electric during their stay, we will deduct £5 from their deposit.
Log : There is a basket of logs included in rent. This will be in the cottage when a guest arrives. Any additional logs will be charged at £5 per basket of logs.
